  • Eliza Van Dissel

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Liza feels most comfortable outside, on her mat or on a horse and is a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Her teaching style is focused on alignment principles and creating a space of empowerment and strength for yogis of all levels; she encourages use of blocks and modifications. Liza began teaching in 2019 after attending the Soma Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, she furthered her education at the Bali Yoga School in 2020 and looks forward to continuing to flow and grow through her yoga practice. Liza's classes bring in an attitude of playfulness and flow as well as modality principles and modifications/progressions. To Liza, what we do on the mat allows us to function more fully off the mat: physically, mentally and spiritually.

“Yoga is not about achieving the perfect posture. It’s about truly engaging in the posture and allowing yourself to be present in the moment.

When you focus on the engagement rather than the form, you can find a sense of freedom and acceptance. Acceptance lives very close to self-compassion and Love. They are all neighbors.”
