AK grew up in Washington but has called Jackson, Wyo. home since 2017. She graduated from the Western Washington University in Bellingham with a degree in Photojournalism, but she eschewed working at a desk for working in the mountains. She’s an adaptive ski instructor and mountain bike guide at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). She also serves on the Board for START Bus and works on the Teton Climate Action Plan (TCAP) to fight for climate-based solutions and accessibility for the community.

When she’s not working, you can find her skiing, ripping her mountain bike, floating down a river, or deep in a book.
