Celebrating our years together with CES Athletes
At Teton Adaptive, we believe that sport and adventure should be accessible to everyone—and the incredible athletes from Community Entry Services (CES) have shown us exactly what that looks like. We are honored to recognize and celebrate this incredible partnership and the unwavering commitment these athletes bring to every activity, season after season.
Whether it’s their first time trying a sport or their hundredth, CES athletes arrive with enthusiasm, courage, and heart. They don't just show up—they shine. Over the years, we've watched this group embrace every opportunity to grow, challenge themselves, and support one another, and it’s nothing short of inspiring.
Let’s talk about just how involved these athletes are
Adaptive yoga is a regular favorite, with many participants showing up week after week to stretch, strengthen, and center themselves as part of their physical and mental wellness routines. And when winter rolls in, you’ll find CES athletes out on the slopes with the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Adaptive Team, skiing with joy, determination, and some serious style.
As the snow melts and the weather warms, the action shifts to the water and the parks. Our paddle days—are always full of CES athletes ready to paddle, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of summer on the water. They also take full advantage of our sailing with us in the Palisades, gliding across the lake with a sense of freedom and fun that’s contagious.
And let’s not forget the energy they bring to our biking and disc golf days at May Park. Whether riding adaptive bikes or aiming for the perfect disc golf throw, CES athletes continue to show us that community and connection are just as important as competition.
Winter also brings adaptive hockey, and let’s just say: CES athletes don’t miss a beat. They hit the rink consistently and passionately, with many making it to almost every single hockey session this past season. Their dedication is real—and it’s impressive.
Many of these athletes are also Special Olympians, competing in various events with pride, sportsmanship, and skill. Their commitment to their sport and to each other reminds us all why we do what we do.
Our journey with CES has been one of growth, adventure, laughter, and so much heart. These athletes have become a vital part of the Teton Adaptive family, helping us build a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone is empowered to play, compete, and thrive.
To all the athletes from Community Entry Services: Thank you for showing up, for showing us what’s possible, and for bringing your whole selves to every experience. Here’s to all of our years together and all of the years to come!
