LOU'S STORY OF PROGRESS AND JOY

Lou became a part of our Teton Kids program for the first time this year, and we’re so excited to share her amazing progress! When Lou first joined us, we faced some challenges—getting her helmet on was a struggle, and ski boots were out of the question. But we focused on small victories, like practicing getting on and off the magic carpet. By week two, Lou was already making encouraging strides. She gradually became comfortable with her helmet and even began to touch and get familiar with other people’s skis. By the end of the day, Lou was confidently riding the magic carpet with her instructors and teachers cheering her on! During weeks three and four Lou made an incredible turnaround! She eagerly put on her helmet and boots, stepped into her skis, and completed several runs at the Kids Ranch with the support of her team. Watching Lou's joy and confidence grow has been such a rewarding experience!
